I got this game over a week ago, finally got around to installing it over the weekend... and wow. What a game!

As a Total War fan, it took me some time to get used to the chaotic nature of the battles... but my word it looks good, plays great, controls are excellent... what more can I say.

Amazing game.

Just thought I would share that with you all... although, judging by this forum, I'm a little late to the party!

get online with some good players on the big maps and be ready for 4 hour + battles :D

I don't think I'm ready to take on the Pros just yet!!! The AI on the single player is keeping me on my toes at the moment!!!

Unreal game... best game I've seen this year. Mind you, I haven't played Medieval 2 yet... that will need to wait until after Xmas... too many games, not enough time!!!

lol i agree awesome game! i just finished the campaign this weekend and only realised it was on normal and some missions were pretty hard lol, next to do it on hard :D and i aint even played it online yet either lol, AI on multi spanks me never mind ppl who have played it nonstop since its been out lol

I am hoping to pick up the game tomorrow, I have been playing Skirmish on the Demo, hammering the allies with 88's from half way across the map is crazy

I want this game so much and i've never played and RTS before! The only thing stopping me from getting it is the fact that i have so many other games that need finishing and i know that i wont finish those if i get this :(

This is the exact same reason why I haven't got Medieval 2 yet. In between NW2 and Comapny of Heroes... I wouldn't be able to give Medi 2 the respect and time it needs.

I'm on the 3rd mission of 'Company', and I already feel the need to replay those missions NOW!

Top draw!

Me to.. would this be a good first RTS?

I think il give the demo a go first to see if i like it.

The 3rd mission, taking out the 88's and securing the road, on a few occassions I stopped playing the thing and just watched the fire-fights, in a temporary state of forgetting I'm controlling those little people on the screen!!!!

Haven't played a game that has gripped me like that for a while!!!!

I bought it but haven't had the time to play it. I got to the second part of the tutorial lol. Think i will sell it what with other good games coming out for the 360.

:o traitor

it's a great game, i even wrote to pc gamer saying how great it was and my letter got published :D

to me, apart from the graphics, gameplay etc, it's the feeling of attachement to your little guys, i hate it when they get killed! it's also the first game that's had a wider inspiring affect on me, i actually spent quite a bit of time researching the battles and history behind some of the game (real world history), it's fascinating, inspiring and moving all at the same time!

buy it!

I agree, the game is really good.

Does anyone know if they fixed the multplayer issue, where almost without a fail a player will be dropped from the start of a game?

So who do you think has the best Doctrines and which doctrines do you play the most? I like the allies Airborne doctrine myself, being able to rapidly deploy a troop anywhere on the map, it's good to get behind a 88 crew then capture the 88 and use it on them :p
