Amazing New Broken Sword game announced

Oh myyyyy.
As said before in the other thread, it was only a few months ago I revisited and played the final ones I never got around to, it's absolutely one of those games that brings back good memories.

I've got them all so far, although I couldn't bring myself to finish the second to last and the last one is still in its wrapper :(

They all got a bit 'samey'

What I'd really like is a remade Indiana Jones P&C click game :D

Had been looking forward to this announcement since Charles Cecil said they were working on one, trying to decide how much to give to 'kick start'

The first two are just brilliant. I've never actually played either of the 3d ones, didn't hold the same appeal oddly.

I just backed it as well. I'm not sure about the 3D and would love to have seen some really high resolution 2D artwork instead. I dunno, maybe they'll pull it off..

Only the 3rd one is 3D, the 4th one ('The Angel Of Death') reverted back to the traditional 2d point & click method of playing, as in the first 2 games of the series.

I only played 2. I think it was 2.

It had this tough puzzle where you had to find a way out of a jungle, had to read a game faq.

Hurray!

I would've thought iOS would be the lead platform though? Point and click games like this are much better on a tablet. (still waiting for beneath the steel sky and BS2 ports on Android :p)

I really like the idea behind this:

Revolution adventures have had considerable success - but the traditional publishing model has prevented us receiving the required royalties to fund future games. With limited financial reserves we have been unable to fund our own titles and so we have not benefited from their success.

Remember that next time a publishing company uses the "piracy hurts developers" line, the only ones hurting developers are the parasitic publishers leeching off their work.
