Now thats what I really want - a tech lab 7970 - but that VTX deal is nearly too good to pass on. Any idea how quiet it is? I really want to get away from the hairdryer 6970 and would love to add the gfx card to my loop. Is the VTX a custom PCB? - could add a block at a later stage.

It is very quiet! Compared to my old 5870 (also a VTX) its a huge difference both in non gaming and especially under load. For the price this card is the BOMB can't recommend it highly enough.

I think you get the codes straight from AMD. So they should have tons of these codes.
