AMD/ATI main card with Nvidia card as PhysX card?

Mafia2 is a good game or at least a decent demo.

I already told him that if you have the card then sure give it a go and see how you feel about it but as someone who seriously considered AMD/PhysX combo I can say that PhysX is very impractical for me, the cost severely outweighs the benefits.
