AMD Catalyst 12.7 BETA (8.981.2 June 12)

Looks very promising for performance, looks like these drivers are the ones to have for the 7000 series. Will wait for the WHQL version before I finally update from 12.3 :).

I haven't got a clue what's going on with AMD but haven't they stopped WHQL drivers now, for these drivers which have no official weekly/monthly release date?

They've stopped monthly releases to concentrate on bringing better drivers, hence why there was no 12.5 official.

12.7 beta is by far the best driver for me, and has given me reason to upgrade from 12.4.

because i can't see any point using it unless i clock much higher than i can i CCC i can clock to 1100/1575 in CCC and 1200/1650 with afterburner but it takes an aggressive fan profile to be stable.

I'd rather run quieter and slightly slower with quickest driver there is

Ok I like to use AB for its on screen display what GPU usage and temps etc.

ok wierdly once i've put it up to plus 20% in afterburner it sticks in CCC...seems ok in bf3 so far though it's difficult to tell with these little increases

Eyefinity?

Amd's trifire support has been **** poor literally all this year, im still on driver 11.12 as it seems to be the only one that gives good performance for bf3. Pathetic :(

Yes I agree they are pathetic but, a pair of clocked 7950's or 70's should fine for eyefinity, no?
I won't ever run a dual gpu setup, let alone trifire/sli, although I only run 2560*1600, but if push came to shove, two top end GPU's should be fine...
