Just randomly decided to check "msconfig" to see if I could find anything that might explain recent "not responding" application lags...
Apparently, on 28/02/10, the AMD dual core optimizer was installed!
Looking at the application installation logs, I also installed the following on the same day:-
3planesoft screensaver manager 1.4
Batman Arkham Asylam
Various Nvidia demos/screensavers
C++ 2005 redistributable
Before I delete the AMD file on Saturday morning, can anyone convince me that I should have this file installed on a Vista-64 HP system as shown in my sig?
