**AMD Radeon 390X Graphics Card WCE**

That isn't what I said though is it.

I'm saying the people who do buy into crossfire are the users spending the most on their hardware.

Crossfire users shouldn't be ignored just because there's more single card users. Nvidia don't abandon their SLI users for months on end so why should AMD?

It can put people off going for your single card options as well as if they ever have future thoughts of going crossfire they won't if the support isn't there.

but the point is that the single card market makes more money so their focus will always be where the £££ is

Most importantly though you're saying why are you being ignored when you have no evidence to support a belief that you're being ignored because the card isn't out. We haven't so much as had a sniff at a sample or been given an idea of the specs of the cards neither has any important review site.

Common trick with graphs is to have the scale begin close to the lower values to accentuate the difference. Sometimes Excel will do that for you automatically. It sort of makes sense when you have a baseline of 1. Still a bit misleading, though.

Lies, damned lies, and statistics!!

I wasn't talking about the cards which aren't out

Current crossfire users have had no profiles for new games for 3-4 months now.

What he meant is (I think) - AMD users have not had a driver update for 3 months, and in that time (and even before) the following games have been launched and therefore don't have proper Crossfire support:

Far Cry 4
Dying Light

And errrm, I'm sure there are others :D

Xfire on this card will be awkward  you'll need to replace both single rads with a 280 whatever, or you'll have a right ugly mess in there

personally i think the AIO will **** a lot of people off They are noisey and have more moving parts making them X times more likely to fail in their life times.

If you're serious about xfire though you'll do what it takes. Its not like the 290x was xfire friendly with it's ref cooler when it came out.

Actually, the ref cooler was the most most xfire friendly option. Ear friendly, no.

Yeah, 290x is 1 so the 390x at 1.6 is 60% faster.

Yeah, I was kind of being a jerk about it :D Charts that don't put clear labels and are intentionally designed to make a difference look masssive have always got on my **** :)

My experience of AIO cooling (I have a Swiftech 240x on my CPU and a 295x2) is that i'd much rather have that than air cooling.

It's quieter than heatsink and fan if you ask me.

It is more hassle installing it, so really would be an enthusiast card though.

The reference cooler is better than aftermarket if you're running croasfire

I dont trust it.

When was the last time a card was 50% faster than its predecessor?

When was the last time there was a new technology as disruptive as HBM? The bandwidth removes so many bottlenecks within the GPU itself, as well as game engines at higher res. Hence why I've been saying for a while that NVIDIA are likely dead in the water in the high end until H2 '16 once these launch.

Aside from the technology and likely massive performance, I think pricing will be a departure from AMD's norm. Not only will the GPUs be expensive, but they should be so far ahead of the competition as to warrant a major price hike. Heise.de are saying $700 for the 390 and $700+ for the 390X (I suspect 390 is 4GB and 390X is 8GB). That probably means €1000 for the 390X, or ~£700.

AMD user here and no problems to report on either game. :)

I feel ya I have a freesync monitor sat on my desk. Dont' get me wrong. AMD have always been a flop in my opinion on the driver front they've never put the same effort in as nvidia even that Rapt gaming evolved crap is crap i'm almost 100% sure it has been responsible for most of my problems over teh last 3 months I keep giving it a try because the recording feature is handy but that barely works now most of my CSGO captures only capture sound at the moment thanks to a recent windows 8 update clashing with the software.

The point is though that implying because you spend more money you deserve more attention is silly when Xfire counts for less than 10% of our SI market and probably even if it's wildly out it's not 50% in consumer so still AMD's focus should be on keeping the majority happy. Nvidia try to update SLI profiles but SLI isn't perfect either. I mean it's taken 4 generations to get quad SLI remotely worth it 8pack couldn't even be bothered with Quad for his systems due to scaling until the 980 came out.

My experience as well, excellent temps on my 295x2 which is great for having 2 cores that run notoriously hot on air.

Anyone going for a high end card like this will likely have the case to accommodate a 120mm rad anyway.

Wasn't implying we deserve more attention, the same attention as the single card users like nvidia give would be just fine.

Surely it can't just be me that thinks making any section of your user base wait longer than the other is bad business.
