yup this is the truth... but what do you do, because the hardest thing is waiting and just saying no.

my bet is we'll get another 390X leak today or tomorrow.......... but the alternative is obvious, buy TX tomorrow and sell it in June......... or keep it, because i bet Booom will be doing this.

it's a straightforward 5 minute swap isn't it.....one single card for another.

I think 380X might be a possibility.

I'm trying to think of a reason why the drivers could have taken so long and why AMD have been so schtum.
 
Their planning to sabotage the Titan X release, soon as Jen-Hsun is about to reveal the card Lisa Su is going to break in by abseiling in through the skylight revealing a fun sized novelty 390x. She will then knock Jen-Hsun out with it before hijacking the projector and post the full specs of their new card.

This is were AMD turn the tide...
 
A few details on upcoming products would be a good way to spoil nvidia's Titan X party, but I'm not holding my breath.

This assumes AMD actually have a card to rain on the Titan's parade

A 390X with a HIS 7950 IceQ leaf blower style cooler would be great. I bet HIS didn't sell as many custom cooled cards over the last 12 months.
