AMD Radeon R9 290X with Hawaii GPU pictured, has 512-bit 4GB Memory

If this ends up around £500 I guess I'm switching from Nvidia if its much above that then hell no. AMD really need to price this aggressively.

If this is the pre-order edition including Bf4+premium its not going to be cheap. If you wait for the retail card launch (October 15th?) it will be about £450-£500.

To be fair it's exactly what AMD said it would be in their Hawaii conference thing.

Aye pre -orders were to be available on the 3rd. What did everyone think it was? Lol trolled. :D

I think a smart move for anyone wanting one of these cards would be to avoid the BF4 edition, wait a few weeks and pick up a R9 290X then and get BF4 as one of the free games that come bundled with AMD cards anyway.:D

I agree Kaapalini, but maybe AMD won't add it immediately.

Mr Scotty has already pre-ordered one though. :D

£99 and several hundreds pounds to pay later.. Will people seriously buy something they don't know the final price for?

Not even wait for reviews? That's a risky game imho, remember remember the AMD Bulldozer..

Of course they will. People paid £900-£1000 pounds for a titan which is a few percent faster than a £500-£550 780.

That was before the 780 had launched though bud, most then sold their Titan's and either bought one or two 780's as the performance is only -5%.

I hear you but people will still order it. It comes with BF4 and Premium i think. That's worth £100 if you buy via origin, though i appreciate you can pick it up cheaper elsewhere.

If it was me id wait but many people will still pre-order.

Bieber endorsed.
