AMD RYZEN 9950X3D / 9900X3D IN STOCK

also is worth mention, I thought it would be at 14:00 but by a coincidence I check the webpage at 13:03, and instantly ordered, and then read the forum, for the next time I will be more in the forum side to know what is going on at the minute

Debating whether to get the 9950X3D or just the 9950X - £100 price gap and I game a little but mostly do photo stacking re. astrophotography. If I was going to spend £700 on a cpu it better be good - or I'd go the whole hog and get a Threadripper instead.

yea crushes intel so badly that when I looked las night if it was worth upgrading from a 12700k to a 9950x3d the difference in games was about 10fps..
maybe if your gaming at under 4k but then why would you spend 500+ on a cpu to game at 1080p? I don't care if the cpu is bottlenecked I want real world performance numbers...

How does that review help anyone who games at 4k? whos buying this cpu for 1080p? and then pairing it with like a 500-900$ gpu? I'm guessing no one.

I know its meant to be a CPU review but it doesn't help me decide if its worth upgrading or not

These channels are aimed at gamers or not? is it because at 4k people would see its a waste of money, but they don't see 4k numbers in the reviews so they get lolled into a false hood that it will give some big improvement.

do they get advised not to show 4k numbers in the initial reviews?

@arknor Yeah and the difference is even smaller if your 12700k is overclocked with well-tuned RAM.

I'd like to upgrade my CPU as well but the value just isn't there yet, nor is it worth the rebuild/reinstall process.

Other review channels did show 1440p / 4k results, this is probably the best one so far:

I have crap ram, I really want to upgrade but nothing seems worth it.

:/

I have ddr4, coulda bought a mobo that supported DDR5 I think.

but didn't seem worth the extra cost at the time.

also I don't OC and heavily undervolted so my cpu never goes above 60c, so stock speeds

wow INTC really crash in 2 different games and get 0 score? I can't believe that?

Seems if you play counterstrike it's really worth it, otherwise another gen skip

I want to impulse buy but even though they’re in stock, it says Monday delivery which is lessening my impulse purchase as I want to play with it over the weekend.

I will be gaming at 5760 x 1080 (3 1080p monitors) to begin with but over summer I am hoping to be upgrading to 7680 x 1440 (3 1440p monitors). If that counts as 1080p gaming.
