Any idea if the CMK16GX4M2B3200C16 found on OCUK is the compatible 5.39 version?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not sure it'd matter. If it's v5.39 (Hynix dies) then you know AMD have made it officially compatible now, but if it's not v5.39 then it'll be using Samsung dies and probably work fine anyway.

Thanks for the reply, ill probably buy the memory and see what happens.

I bought some about a month ago, it is Hynix. Mine runs fine at 3066 but won't even boot through bios if set any faster. If anyone has managed to get it to run at 3200 or faster I would be interested to see what settings they used.

I can boot at 3200 with em but they are not stable - warm and cold boot problems. 3066 has been fine. Tried several ProcCDT ohms, nothing worked for me.

Here's hoping MSI can deliver a better BIOS with the new AGESA update.... it's been nearly two months since the last BIOS update. My Dominator 2933mhz needs to run at its rated speed plz!

My Corsair 3200MHz stuff just turned up, dropped it into the Taichi, set the XMP profile and rebooted straight into windows at 3200:

Not done any testing yet, but it's a good start!

EDIT1: So, while it boots, it's not stable, started ARMA crashed after 10-20seconds. Have upped the SoC voltage to 1.1V to see if that helps.

EDIT2: 1.1V SoC, no change, still crashes. 2T, no change, still crashes.

EDIT3: Upping to 1.4V DRAM voltage doesn't help either. Only way I've made it 'stable' (played 10mins of Arma, all 3200 settings crashed after a few seconds, or before hitting Windows) is to drop the speed to 3066MHz. Seems like 3200 is still out of reach on the Taichi with this kit.

EDIT4:
Yup, same results as @DarkHorizon472 and @Awahwah , 3200 is a no go, 3066 seems solid. Now to decide if I want to keep this 16GB @ 3066 or my original 32GB @ 2400...

my memory is two sticks of dual rank Corsair CMK32GX4M2B3200C16 Vengeance LPX 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4 3200 Version 5.39 (sk Hynix)

Should have gone with the 4 sticks of 8GB Corsair.

I can run this memory to 2933MHz with no problem, but no go at 3200.

I have lowered the timmings (14,15,15,15,32,50,1T) to offset not being able to run at 3200

TBH getting 3200mhz from 4 sticks would also be very hard, from what I've heard and 2933mhz is still very decent.

Looking at the G.Skill RGB 4x8GB 3200 running with Ryzen 1700 on an MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon. Is the RGB stable on this sort of system or better off getting rid of the bling and getting something else?
