For $100 it's a 'why not' given the cost of a new system

I think it was AMDs plan all along to make the 3900 the most appealing of the 3. 50% more cores for only 100$ more will be many people's choice. It's a CPU that has the best of both worlds, and has the broadest use case. At the listed price and considering Intel can't come close, it should interest many current Intel users.

Looks like the question(one of them) that everyone wants to know - what is the difference between the two 8 cores - will remain unanswered for a while
