Yeah 12 for me as well, all down to overclocking now.
If these can put another 250-300 on the clocks then its more than just a landslide its a total annihilation.

If the 3950 is 20% faster in gaming than 9700k or 9900k then I suppose it’s worth it. If it is on par then I can’t see many gamers buying one.

Let have food for thought. For the price of the 9960X, we get AM4 X570 motherboard and 3900X in July, then throw it away and replace it with 3950X in September.

sitting on a 10 core 7900x and man i feel a bit miffed having paid £760 for the cip alone but i have a good freind who i'm selling the chip, mobo and a quad set of dominators for around half what i paid for all 3, it not a lot but will help buying the new amd stuff on the 7th plus payday is 2 days before then so even more moeny to spend XD
