American Pie - New Film

Just heard theres a new American Pie film, trailer looks ok but without the original cast i duno. Anyone else have an opinion on the new American Pie flick?

Saw this today, it actually wasn't all that bad

It's better than any of the other sequels following the 3rd film anyway which mostly sucked. Also Eugene Levy is still going strong

4 and 5 were utter pap. So expect the same but haven't see any trailers or news on it.

I've seen all the other American Pie Presents films and all have been very good, even though the original actors aren't in it.

The first couple were funny but it did go down hill.

I doubt they could have anything in this film as funny, and massively awkward, as the dad talking to Jim about masturbation. Reminds me of a bloke at work who said when he went to visit his dad they watched porn together. Now thats sick

Good formula at the beginning. Then milked until any sort of life had been completely drained from it.

The characters completely changed for the third one (wedding) and with that I said goodnight to the series. The name is just a cash cow now, no quality needed to be inserted into the film at all.

Meh I got slightly interested in this thread when I saw the title but alas it's just another straight to DVD rip-off

They should actually make a proper sequel with the original cast though, would be interesting to see

Oh and is that the girl off of EastEnders at 0.22? One reason to watch this then maybe

1= epic
2= epic
3= borderline OTT but bearable... ish.

4= different cast, turned off bitterly disappointed the moment I realised.
5= there is a 5th? I wrote off American Pie the moment the original cast went.

American pie partially lost its way after the 2nd and totally lost its way after the 3rd.
