For anyone who plays AA or is interested, an early Christmas present has arrived in the shape of v2.8. There are no new dev created maps/weapons/vehicles, but there is a load of bug/lag fixes and a map editor. Yes that's right, anyone can make a new map or edit an original map. Anything you create can be submitted to the devs and may be approved for everyone to play officially.
Anyone who left the game because none of the maps suited them, now you can make one to suit your gaming style (sniping dual across chasm, all in one room CQB etc).
It should be available from all the usual suspects but some download links are here.
