The bold bit is simply not true, sex education is taught at primary schools all over the country the trouble is parents can opt their children out and do so in large numbers.
I remember my sex education, and I've spoken to numerous people about this as it's something that interests me greatly. Sex education in primary school is a joke. It's a poor video, and demonstrates the biological act of having sex. It doesn't discuss the pitfalls (emotionally, physically, and so on) of having sex and the risks (pregnancy, disease) are barely touched upon at that age.
Yes, there is sex education in schools but it is pretty much irrelevant.
well, she shouldn't really. if she's going to put her point across, atleast tell them to have safe sex.
a 13 yr old's body may be biologically capable of producing children but the girl is not physically or mentally ready.
She shouldn't really what? Be talking to her children about sex? I quite agree, she ought to tell the child of the risks of sex but accept that if she wants to do it then she should ensure that her child has access to contraception, as well as someone to talk to about if needed. Plus, a safe environment to have sex.
