an american haunting

i watched the trailer and laughed my head off.

looks like the most appaling, rushed, rip-off of emily rose possible. truly horrific.
 
Holy revival.

My daughter watched this the other day and hadn't got a clue what was going on so I watched it last night and I didn't have a clue either.
It was like nothing was explained properly and you didn't know why/who/what/where/when etc.
I had to google the film to find out what was going on.
Could have been a good film if I knew what was happening at the time.

Oh yeah - it was based on a 'true' story about The Bell Witch but the film makers had decided to totally change the plot (as usual).
 
AWFUL film absolutely AWFUL!

A really good "Ghost" story I watched recently was Half Light. Really really good, guessed the first twist but didn't guess the second.

Ok, so from what I understand, John Snr, was the one molesting his daughter and accounts for the wounds...but how does that account for the rest of the family and the professor 'seeing' the spirit and how does it account for that scene when they were all viewing Betsy being held up by nothing and slapped?? :confused:
