... A VW Sharan!

What a beast - 2.0 TDI with 140PS. Looks like a hearse, it's not too slow actually - spins the front wheels up driving along in second gear which is 'interesting'. When the turbo kicks in you can feel the steering wheel tugging, nasty front wheel drive :(

Interior is pretty low rent with nasty plastics, the radio is bad (although it does play MP3's) and the climate control is fiddly and a bit confusing.

Handles like a van (I guess it IS a van really), and the boot's tiny.

Obviously this is a well looked after example:

To sum up, thank god I'll never have to buy an MPV :D

Oooh lovely, I bet your chuffed to bits with that :P

Funny this thread popped up as I am away to the body shop in 30mins and I wonder what god awful car I will get, I have a feeling it’s going to be little shopping trolley corsa or micra

....and the award for stupidest courtesy car goes to.... (!)

Mine is nearly as odd though. I have a Mazda 3 Sport for an Audi A6 at the moment.

How's the bodyroll?

Blimey you Bimmer boys are spoilt! I had a sharan for a day, i wouldnt describe the car as low rent, drive the car how its meant to be driven and not like a RWD uber saloon, and you will be ok:p

Maybe it's because I'm used to BMW quality interior - even Jez's S-class was a bit of a letdown in places!
