It sounds nice, i am intreagued by you being impressed by this feature though:
They are electric, folding in the rear, and electric position in the front, easily impressed I guess
I assume he adopted the 'boy racer' postion and had the back of seats so low in his Impreza he couldn't use the headrests
Only because I am 6'5" and otherwise I would have the steering wheel 2 inches from my chest

Rang the dealers and asked them whether they were aware the MOT had expired, and they said they weren't but that the guy I dealt with was off for a few days and back Friday.
Told them I was concerned if it failed and was told they have their own garage to rectify any issues, so if it fails I could take it back to be put right (and presumably mot'd).
So looks like the trader is acting honestly and it was just an honest mistake, will keep you guys updated.

So it failed on rear brake pipes and side repeater bulbs white not orange.
I have some orange side repeater bulbs, and the hoses shouldn't be too expensive so major disaster no longer on the cards.
Could have been so much worse, booked in next Wednesday to have the solid pipes replaced.
