I used to use QuickPic as it allowed me to use my folders instead of pseudo albums. Albums are ok, but don't copy well to other systems. I just want to use folders. QuickPic though was bough out, and they've made some changes which I don't like. I don't like the stock folders app.

What do you use and why.

Bear in mind that Quickpic is crashy on Nougat 7.x. I ended up opting with Foto Gallery after that.

That will be your phone OEM, not Nougat. The beta Nougat on the S7 did crash quickpic, but the final release has no crashes.

I think he means that old version of quickpic. Yeah it's crashing on 7 for me too. I'll try foto

That's what i mean too. The old version was crashing on 7 beta for me, but is perfectly fine on the final stable release

I think Piktures supports folders.

Hmm, well it crashes on my 6P the moment I moved onto Nougat. Now running 7.1.1 and it's the same. Crashes randomly on the wifes OnePlus3 too running Nougat. This is the signed version I'm on about, which is why I moved on.

Used to use Quickpic, then Piktures but I now use (and have paid for) F-Stop.

Piktures sees folders but can't do any other file operations.
File operations seem to be broken on the latest version of QuickPic. At least it doesn't handle SDCards like it used to.

Foto Gallery seems ok, its file operations seem ok, but can't seem to create sub folders except in its own folder.

I'm going to try F stop now.
