Angel Eyes on a Mini?

Like anything fella, mods will offend some, delight others and the general public won't care or notice I doubt.
If you like it, get it done :)

You are 100% right. :)

I suppose these cars wouldn't please everyone on here, yet someone has done it anyway. :p

Absolutely. We are all bitter about people in Mini's.

The 'we had it first' argument is irrelevant which is what you were going for. It's a freely available mod, whether it's ruining or sprucing up an old mini, each to their own.

He asked us for thoughts. This is what he gets.

It looks as ridiculous as the prevelence for fitting Audi style LED running lights on 2002 Seats.

They do look ridiculous but my initial thoughts and impressions from your comment were 'how dare you, these are BMW lights'.

And your impression was correct - that is my opinion. My opinion is that fake tacky cheese ripped from other manufacturers looks crap. In this case it happens to be BMW angel eyes, but if this was about Audi style DRL's I'd have exactly the same position.

Nay

Sorry but it's a big no from me.

Just looks like another car with it's fake BMW Angel Eyes - can't have a Mini joining the McDonalds Corsa & Saxo brigade!

Now we're talking  :D

I think they look pretty decent! Given the size and style of the Mini lights they don't particularly scream BMW rip-off to me but I guess at some basic level they could be construed to be if such things bother you. Classic minis are fairly uncommon and even less so completely standard so, again, I don't see the problem in putting aftermarket bits on them.
