Around christmas time I had a little bump with another car. Entirely my fault, they were turning right and I didnt see until it was too late. However the part of the road we were on was a very tight bend so I was going very slowly. When we examined the cars my front number plate was cracked and had fallen off on one side and their car was free from any damage except a tiny scratch on the bumper which may or may not have been there in the first place.
We exchanged details and the woman told me she'd call me once she'd got the damage assessed.
Today I get a phone call from my insurance saying shes gone straight to her company and theres nothing i can do to settle outside. Now im really disappointed about this, yes it was her right to do this but she said she'd settle outside. The most I can see myself having to pay for would be a new bumper on her car but now ive lost my protective cover and another crash will mean my premium goes through the roof. meh not happy
