**ANOTHER DEAL OF THE CENTURY - THIS TIME ITS ATI's TURN!**

Love dpd for one big reason

secduled for delivery between 1010 and 1110

doorbell rings at 1011
very happy

can seem to clock it very well although ive not checked for driver updates as of yet as jsut got it installed

more often than not xfire bridges come with the mobo as mobo slot spacing do vary, graphics card companies have to be feeling quite generous to supply these and mobo makers sometimes skip as well (partlicualy if the board suppports sli and xfire)

Hehehehe, I love this card, cheers Gibbo :)

Just installed it with the drivers from the CD and in Furmark it is roughly 4 times faster than my old 1950 Toxic and a gnats whisker cooler too.

My CPU temp has dropped a little too since I had fitted an Akasa cooler to the Toxic which vented straight into my Shuttle.

Just booted up Fallout NV and it defaulted to Ultra High Quality, the first time a recent game has done that.

Dead chuffed.

A mega card at that price for me. :)

I've connected the second PCI-e power cable to a Molex connector, would I be better to use a splitter on the proper Shuttle PCI-e cable? It's a 400W Shuttle PS (SD37P2)

not full retail then but the lite version

They are full retail, not all retail ones come with Crossfire Bridges as standard, same with Nvidia graphic cards too (SLI Bridges). This is down to the model and what the manufacturers want to provide within the packaging.

The 5830 is a full retail, but Sapphire still don't supply crossfire bridges. The 5850 is a Lite and again no crossfire bridges.

At no point have we stated these cards do have bridges either. :)
