Edit: Price is £119.99 inc VAT now, that's still good value for money considering this performs close to a 6870.

stock sized 5830's have always been bigger than the 5850 ;)
 
Heres hoping that due to the new design, my 5850 will run cool and quiet when it arrives later today and it'll be an added bonus if it also overclocks at around 850mhz or more:D

Well it's supposed to be cooler and quieter. *fingers crossed*. I'm waiting for the postman to ring my doorbell this morning.

I've read about people getting a 1000mhz overclock; this could be interesting.

Don't forget to use the DPD tracking link to see the time of delivery. :)

Ah yeah, I've just seen that. How accurate are the times? I could do with leaving the house for an hour or two but don't want to miss it. :)
 
They are usually dead on, just make sure you are there within that hour, and I would recommend being there just before and after the time, incase they are early or a little later than the estimated time given. :)

Never had any problems with DPD before, and as above they do tend to be pretty accurate with the timing.

Your parcel is on the vehicle for delivery, due between 12:36 - 13:36 :D

Those temps are quite low, 900 on the core stable would be great.
 
OK.. so I orderd one too..

Will let you know how it crossfires (or not) with my MSI 5850.

Anyone else doing this?
