**ANOTHER DEAL OF THE CENTURY - THIS TIME ITS ATI's TURN!**

DPD were awesome, their website said between 10:13 and 11:13 this morning and they arrived at 10:40 ish. Very nice card I must say, idles in my HTPC at 42 - 44c which is great (my 4850 with an Zalman cooler was roughly the same). Max load temp under 30 minutes of Furmark was 70 - 75c. The higher speed fan kicked in around 75c which brought it back down to 70c, then stopped, then back up to 75c and just repeated like that. Took about 90 seconds after exiting Furmark to go from 75c back down to idle temperatures of 42 - 44c. Temps in an actual game, Rift being my example here, were 60c average after 2 Warfronts and some running around the main city.

Performance improvement over a 4850 is excellent even with my E8400. The cooler is also excellent for noise can barely hear it, even when it hits the higher speed fan at 75c. Tested both 11.3 and 11.4p (currently on 11.4p), worked fine with both (installed everything, CCC2, HDMI driver etc). Very happy with it \o/

Mines just arrived. Bang on time when DPD said it would! Great service. Will have to wait until the weekend to get it set up but its a nice looking card and only 8.5" long!

1 hours gaming on CoH maxed out at 1920 x 1080.

Fan at 50%, highest temp 61C.

Just to add fan is not really audible at 50% either.

Good feedback, the cooler design does look very good and its good to hear that the card remains quiet even under gaming. :)

Collecting mine tomorrow afternoon, I work nights so was asleep when DPD came.

Shall spend the afternoon cleaning my Shuttle, rather a lot of dust inside it at the moment.....

Just to mention that the DPD delivery service is fantastic. For a first time OCUK buyer, I have trust in them now.

For those that have opened their boxes, what's inside? Mine feels very light and this is compared to what I've been reading about how heavy the 5850's are. I know the new design makes it smaller, but lighter?

they are pants tbh tried one myself , you might as well blow through a straw if you want to remove dust

I have used many and they have always done the job well, have you made sure you are squeezing the handle down enough? - Also do not shake them, just leave them still.

Yes they are far lighter. :)

They come with driver CD, couple of power adapters and DVI dongle.
