It is indeed true, Greenlizard. There was a puddle of it on the concrete, looked like some silver paint had been spilt - being children, we prodded it with a stick - and it burst into tiny balls that ran like liquid, before joining up again seamlessly.

If it wasn't deadly, it'd be an awesome toy. Beats silly putty and 'slime', anyway.

Anyway for years dental nurses used to mix amalgam filling in the palm of their hand, directly mix the silver power and the liquid mercury, no gloves, no protection, the amounts absorbed over a career must have been significant. They don't appear to have been converted to alternate sexuality.

I don't know..........................all the Dental Nurses that i have "pitched" over the years have turned me down.........................................so they must be lesbians...............................................yes ? :D
