Another New PC Build (High Spec, Silent)

Hello,

Thinking about a new PC, my current one (now 4 years old), no longer cuts it. I plan to turn it into a secondary server running multiple VMs using XEN and stick it in the cupboard. I have a NAS, so most of my files are on that (managed by my active directory server and copied off site). I may stick in 2 silent 2TB drive locally (in RAID 1) for some confidential files I don't want synced into my company network.

I do a lot of work (photoshop, intensive excel, app development and sharepoint).

While silence is the key aspect (will sacrifice performance for it), I would like a top of the range spec.

Need some ideas for graphics card and power supply. It needs to run 4 monitors at 1920x1200 each. I'd like to get back into gaming, but that's secondary. No fixed budget, but ideally under £3600 including VAT.

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks, that's look great. And a good price.

Good question on the RAM. The problem with SharePoint development with Visual Studio is you need a local running copy, which means web server and SQL server.

I assume water cooling is the way to go for silence? I've never done that before.
