I support what they do - there are few causes that I think are worthy of strong arm tactics but the whaling thing is a needless industry - the sooner it can be stopped the better.

I cant belive these people get enough money to buy these ships! they must cost millions of pounds?

There tactics are very questionable but if I remember correctly the boats are registerd in new zealand who kindly turn a blind eye.

They are registered in the Netherlands. New Zealand and Australia turn a blind eye to the whalers and to the anti-whalers.

What a Stupid thing to say, even if the Ady Gil was moving forward which i dont think they were the rules of the road gave them right of way, so the other ship should have moved away, not turned onto them at the last minute,

It was never going to end well putting a fast agile boat right in front of a large slow boat with a huge turning circle. I'm pretty sure even a 2 year old could have told them what would happen. Anyway as said above the skipper of the ady gil has even came out and said it was sunk on purpose.

It wasn’t in front of the other ship, it was way off to the side, and a harpoon ship has a very small turning circle anyways, and should have given way to the other ship, there’s no doubt that the crash was 100% the fault of the Jap ship,

And the Ady Gil was Scuttled after the hit so that has nothing to do with the crash???

If I remember correctly it's the duty of the smaller ships to get out of the way of the larger ones...so the Ady Gil should not have been getting so close to the whaling ship. They may not have powered in front of them buy they certainly were moving forwards and could easily see what would happen.
