Hi Folks,

I am looking at buying an antec 300 but I also want to watercool my processor and maybe my gfx card. I am looking to get at minimum a 240 rad. I am looking to get a pump/ res to save a bit of space but there won't be a lot more space in the case.

Does the 300 have holes already in it to allow water cooling tubes to come out for an external rad?

If not, how easy would it be to remove all of the 3.5" drive bays so I can fit a radiator upright in the front of the case since it has 2 fans there already? Would this offer enough cooling potential to the radiator.

Another option would be 1 120mm rad and 1 140mm for the two exhausts, how would this deal with the cooling? I don't really want to get a massive case and feel this case is the best to go for for the cost/ cooling /looks

Thanks

I was thinking about puting a 240 rad where the 3.5" are also.

It would only be a matter of drilling the pop-rivots out to get rid of the 3.5 cage.

I would invert fans to have them pulling the heat of the rad & out of the case.

There is no holes for an external rad but theres plenty of spaces for them.

Also seen as its up to £50 its no longer the vaule it was imo

How hard is it to drill out the rivets? I have never really done any case modding before? I have access to a power drill/ jigsaw etc but is there anything I need to be wary of?
