Been listening to this album a lot lately and wondered what you lot think about it?

I personally think it's a really nice, deep and emotional collection of songs. Not to mention that the guys voice is unique and the music really refreshing and new.

Standout tracks for me are, Hope There's Someone, My Lady Story, Man is the Baby, You Are My Sister and What Can I Do?.

You can really feel the emotion and feeling in the music, despite how hard it seems to be for most people to accept, at first. Anyone who hasn't heard them, I advise you to listen to Man is the Baby as a starter track and all-round taster of the album.

What are everyone elses thoughts?

Phil.

I quite like it mainly as it is something a little different from the mainstream.I'm not sure if it will grow into a classic album.I have heard a live recording by him which is very similar to the album, so I guess the CD captures the essence of a perfromance and is not overproduced which is also refreshing.

Put this in my "Top albums of 2005" thread a while back. It's a stunning album, very nice to listen to on a Sunday evening when I'm working in the bar.
