anway to reinstall windows mail? (vista 64)

For some reason anytime i click on an email address i get a message saying "the operation could not be completed becuase the default mail client is not installed properly". Is there anyway to reinstall it without running a windows repair or something?

From what I'm aware you can't uninstall or reinstall it, and you need to do a repair on the Operating System to fix any problems with it, since the program is part of the OS rather than being an additional program. I guess you could try to find someone who is also on Vista 64bit and ask them to e-mail you their "Windows Mail" folder from Program Files, in case yours is corrupted or something, and replacing yours with it (make a backup of course).
