Any art collectors here?

I'd love to inject some colour like that into my home, I always find myself wondering what shade of White I'm going to paint the next room. need to be adventurous, there's only me living here afterall!

Those pictures are great also, Very modern.

I'd love some colour. Not allowed to paint the walls or put pictures up here, part of my contract.

Will be a different story when I get my own place.

I like how the hills flow nicely from one picture to the next, Looks cool :)

Cheers :) - I have digital copys too so they regularly span both monitors for a snazzy background :D

Have quite a few Monet and Rembrandt canvasses. I find Rembrandt dramatic. As if he shines a light on what he wants you see but the darkness hides far more than what's on display. They hang only in the hallways downstairs and upstairs and in the dining room as it's a bit too intense for the family rooms.

Monet captures everyday life better than anything I've ever seen. It feels comfortable looking at his impressions and I have no qualms hanging his work in various bedrooms or the living room. It easily slips into the background and hangs unobtrusively.

For the kitchen and foyer I have three canvasses by Brent Heighton (Google his work). I find them mysterious yet very homely. I wish I had more space to hang more of his stuff.

Would love to show you pics but aint got any right now and won't until April when I'm back in Austria. Hold me to it though.

As Phate says, not sure if its art as such but I've got a couple of things on my wall at the moment (before moving to my own place)

There is a small print of a painting that my folks bought me of a couple of blokes sat at a bar. Who knows why they bought me it and who its by but its on my wall as well.

When i do get my own place no doubt I'll get a few more photos printed and framed to decorate the walls.

Naturally :p

LOL, awwww, otherwise I want your job! lol

Crime scene is signed (bottom corner), numbered 1st/30, and Yellow Brick Road was the original print from her portfolio. Actually got a pretty good deal since i got them both together, plus I got to meet her last month in Birmingham to pick it up since its rather big for Royal Mail.

Apparently painted by a drug dealer who got busted. I wonder what they were on when they painted this?

I like it the GF hates it, hence why it is in the playroom, I mean office.

A while ago I looked at that one long and hard and concluded that I'd probably go insane having to stare at that every day. I've thrown numerous canvasses out because they became intrusive after a while. No .5 would zap my brain right away :p

it grows on you, its a stunning peice of art.

although i dont get to look at it often, as it sits in the safe ;)
