Any cheaper flights from Birmingham to Hong Kong??

No.....I am going in April.

Besides, July is PEAK summer, and August is entering into typhoon season, it is like an oven there, 35c-40c at 100% humidity.......nice !

Oh I see what you mean cool, @ Fox I might rushed a bit in what I was saying if I were coming back from heathrow I normally take the taxi. as there would be so many stuff to carry my hands will be more than full.

Now back on topic Does any1 find anything cheaper and better than the Emirates one that is at £720? If sum1 used Air China I'd like to hear you view.

Much appreciated.

I still don't understand why you can get a coach to Birmingham but you'd have to get a taxi to Heathrow. Every time I fly Long Haul I max out my luggage allowance and STILL manage to go there and back via train, its a complete non issue

Cathay don't fly out of Bham. Eimerates do. But you'd have to get a connecting flight from Dubai to HK. Alternatively I think you can go direct from Manchester to Hong Kong or Singapiore

Stay in the shade and avoid midday sun if you can. I was there April last year and standing outside in the shade without looking in the sky I was squinting....the glare is ridiculous.

Drink lots of water.

The heat isn't that much of a problem, hence the English loves to go to Spain, Egypt etc but they don't often to somewhere hot AND humid. It is the humidity that really get you.
