Any good, free racing games on the PC?

As per title. Fancy playing a racing game as i've recently got a pad for the PC.

Is there anything worthwhile or are the F2P games all the usual business i.e loads of cheaters and overpowered Premium memberships?

Thanks guys, can I just download Trackmania through Steam or do I need to make some sort of Trackmania account? Downloading it atm so want to be prepared.
