Any Good Reads Lately?

So yeah, i just finished The Hunger Games trilogy and i thought it was pretty epic imho (haters gonna hate) but i am annoyed they are turning it into Twilight with this whole 'Team Gale' Vs 'Team Peeta' and all that bullcrap they are selling at bookstores.

ANYWAY...

Yeah i don't really read much but i think its time i should start to read a lil bit more in more life. Because i don't read there is no Genre that i have really love so im open to opinions. BUT, that said, the games ive been playing lately i have enjoyed (Such as skyrim, metro, stalker and Red dead Redemption) so if there are anybooks around these genres i will be happy

But i am really open to all sorts of opinions. i plan to pick up a book tomorrow afternoon and i live in the Uk and i shall be purchasing from Waterstones so please don't post books that are only avalible overseas or in some stores.

If you enjoy skyrim and like the swords, magic books for an interesitng series which isn't too difficult to get into you could try http://www.amazon.com/Mistborn-Trilogy-Boxed-Brandon-Sanderson/dp/076536543X

I know it is an American link but it just shows you the series together, you can pck them up in seperate volumes in any Waterstones

I'd recommend Patrick Rothfuss' Kingkiller Chronicles, I'm just reading the second book and it's every bit as good as the first.
