Any good real world car driving sims?

This thread has been a absolute brain wave for me.

I want a wheel, the Mrs fancys learning to drive but doesnt want lessons yet.

got to be the ultimate way to justify a g27 and look like yer doing good aswell.
 
just stop, no game / sim is going to help you drive look for a better instructor whom is not a clutch fidler and 90% are as they want their cars to last as long as poss to max profit and take you for as many lessons ect. if you can have a freind take you to a industrial park and feel the car.

GTA V is not a good idea if you have young ones who love the idea of controlling a car in urban spaces.

Euro Truck Sim 2 is great for this but a similar kind of game with purely driving around in a city would be awesome for kids.

Apart from City Car Driving (which I am not sure has a "simple" driving mode), does anyone have any further suggestions since the thread was last updated?
