Hi, as title says, just wondering if there are any spot creams/gels/whatever that anyone can recommend? It's nothing serious, just the odd spot here and there but I would still like to have a clear face.

Thanks.

Sorry, but someone has to say this. If it's not me it'll be someone else in a minute.

hahaha!.... ow wait that was not funny.

I find that daily facial scrubs work better than any spot cream/gel etc. Witch do a decent range which are worth checking out, personally I go for the sensitive skin ones.

Don't actualy have spots now but I had a few a while ago, haven't had any since I've started useing the scrubs. (was a grotty student)

I get spots sometimes on my fod if i have any fringe, then some on the cheek and neck area occasionaly from shaving i would say.

I don't use creams an stuff, but my mate uses Dove face moisturiser and he looks like a babies ass (smooth face) :P

chris_r: I have a similar problem, it's mainly an issue when I have to shave. Going over the spot with the razor just aggravates it.

No Personal attacks. If something upsets you get in touch with a Don or RTM the post. FF

Depends on what you want to spend.

I have found the best face wash is clinique for men - face scrub.

But if you are looking for something a little cheaper I use L'oreal man expert face wash.

He was joking mate, its the forum humour here :)

Woah chill man it was just a joke.

I'm stupidly vain so use a silly amount of scrubs etc. I even use a cleanser and then clear skin moisturiser. Infact this cleanser isn't good enough so I'm going to have to get an astringent one. Laugh away :D

Spot creams don't work imo. I never had serious spots, but had to use antibiotics to get rid of the ones that did appear.

I borrow my wifes Eumovate!... a bit extream but it works none the less!... (BTW don't try this unless you speak to a pharmasist first!!)

Antibiotics? That seems quite extreme.

I think I'll check out the Clinique For Men - face scrub.

I went on Roacutane when I was younger for them.

use to get them quite often in my teens - for me tho any type of face wash dried out my skin and caused me to get more spots. The best bet is to use just warm water or dove bar.

sersiously don't waste your money on oxy & all that crap.. get urself one of these

Quinoderm. Purple box with a purple tube in it.

If that's not strong enough, try Quinoderm 5, stronger.

And yeah, wash too. And keep off sugary stuff. I have 2 showers, and wash my face 2 more times a day. Keeps the grease away, and so, the spots stay away too.

If it's really bad, go to your doctor and ask about acne medicine. You can get some good antibiotics for it.

I always get spots from shaving so now I use an electric shaver, no spots and much easier :p just wash your face really and use astringents.

This guy knows where it's at. When I get my astringent and charge up my leccy razor I'll be away :D. Weird actually... I'm a Rich1988 myself. OH DEAR - Wiltshire too, not Swindon is it?
