Any hints/tips on cutting holes in windows

Going to start modding the window of my case...as per title really anyone done this?

was planning on using a dremmel but wasn't sure whether to drill it out first or what cutting bit to use, i think the main problem i see is the material melting!

was wanting to cut some letterbox shapped holes with rounded edges for cooling , going to have to have a rethink

i have a metal jig of what i want to cut out?

option1 ... i can always replace the window, was thinking full speed hack cut ***

if i had a router i would use that, what i might do is try one line and depending on the thickness/mess it makes i might fit some sort of precut rad grill!!

what about a drill and jigsaw or is that just going to snap the perspex (or whatever it is)

how do i find out what its made of.....might be fitting a darker colour window anyway so might just have a practice

Hopefully (after seeing my efforts on alu haven't got any better) i might have a way of avoiding cutting the window at this stage, as ive fitted an extra fan in the front for more airflow.
