Any hope for this drive?

I have a friends drive out of a laptop. I plugged it into my desktop, it recognizes both partitions and the hard drive model, the drive spins up and sounds normal. But it wont let me do anything with the drive, it can't format or open the drive. They come up as RAW filesystems and no capacity is displayed. Is it bricked?

try "partition find and mount"

or "get data back ntfs" or fat whichever applies to you.
