Ooo I didn't know this, I thought you meant was there a downloadable bios flash to unlock the multiplier on the P5B yet and had just got the two boards mixed up.

The latest bios for the p5b (0309) unlocks the multipliers down to the speedstep multiplier. On my e6600 this gives me from 6 to 9.

How is the P5B with the E6600? I'm liking the idea of 500 FSB x 6.

I don't see how that would work, the P5W tops out at 450Mhz :confused:

You wouldn't need to reduce the multiplier even if you got a board that could do the max FSB.
