Any news on Flash player being release for iPhone

Maybe when Adobe and Apple stop having a massive spat at each other. Probably happen about the same time Hell freezes over.

Even if its ready it will have to be integrated with safari and i really doubt there wil be any new features this version of the OS, its only 8 months till the next upgrade is due. If they wait for the next one it will be another reason for iPod touch users to pay yet another £5 for an update which sounds very apple to me. Or they will make it not work on the 2G/3G to try and get people to upgrade (aka video recoding).

What's it needed for, videos? I hope they leapfrog flash completely and push on towards the new web standards.

mainly for streaming on sites that dont have the iphone specific stream and flash games.
