As per the title, does anyone have experience of insurers that are particualrly good for limited millage (max 3-4k)?

The renewal has come up with Admiral and it doesn't appear to make a material difference what millage I put in. I understand the argument of more shorter journeys, but it would just be good if hear of someone knows of an insurer that is good for this.

Thanks

You would need to take out a limited mileage policy - simply entering in an 'expected mileage' during your quote, isn't going to reduce your premium.

Edit - I got one with Aviva (via Flux) - 5k limited, I only do 3-4k miles a year.

Depends on the car.

Im on a classic policy at 19 with footman james, limted to 4.5k and im paying £700 a year less that admiral quoted and they we're the cheapest

Tsk. Footman James gave me the boot come renewal time, didn't offer me a quote and said it was because they're no longer covering anyone under 30. Guess that doesn't apply to classics though.
