Any possibility of fixing this corrupted graphics card?

Well, I don't think it worked :(

I put it back in the PC and when the fan on the graphics card heatsink tried to spin up it wouldn't move seeing how the fins had all deformed and melted, the on screen display was still corrupted too.

I'm not dissuaded though! I'm confident that this fix will definitely work seeing as it's worked for loads of other people, so logically it has to work for me. I'm thinking that my card might be more like a soufflé though, which sometimes taste better when twice cooked. Hence I have begun to reheat the oven for round 2, this time the temps are increasing and so is the time the card will be in there.

Thank god my housemates aren't in otherwise they'd probably say this is one of the most idiotic things I've ever done and try and stop me! Ha! I'll show them when I've got a working graphics card to show for the rancid smell now permeating the kitchen and front room, and a little bit of upstairs too.

ahaha touché

Oh deary me. :(

Well, (and I don't mean this in a sarcastic way), now you know where you went wrong. Sometimes making a mistake is the way to learn. At least you had a go.

Right, pizza is done, nicely crisp, ham and pineapple with extra grated organic cheddar on top (was on sale at sainsburys this week), hmmm....tasty.
Graphics card in the oven, lets hope it turns out just as tasty.

Did it have olives on it ? And was the organic cheese on offer, or the pizza ?

It`s these kind of details that are important.

Of course, the main question is - deep pan or thin crust ?

I'm glad you asked these questions. Unfortunately there were no olives at the time of consumption so I had to make do with just dipping in mayo for a bit of extra flavour. As for which item was on sale, well, you're not going to believe this - but they BOTH were! That's right, the pizza was half price at £1.75 and the organic cheese was a 1/3 off! Talk about timing when nipping out to the supermarket. Also thin crust, why you even asked that though I'm not sure because you'd have to be nuts to buy anything else.

Right, round 2 is over, graphics card is cooling again. Unfortunately when I put my face really close to the card when it came out of the oven to see if the solder joints looked 'fluidy' or not I accidentally burnt my chin on the baking pan. I now have to go run my chin under the cold water tap for a few minutes. BRB.

Find that a heat gun works much better than the oven trick fixed 6 graphics cards 3 xbox 360,s and ps3 this way

Sorry, I fell alseep with my chin under the cold water tap in the sink. It was a long day yesterday, tut it did save me having to have a shower this morning even if my chin is now blue.

I haven't tested it again yet. I need to make some coffee first and play some Black Ops to ready myself for the potential win of putting this graphics card back in my PC and see it working after two baking sessions. Can't wait.

I smell arabic coffee, you might want to check under your stairs, we had a terrible troll problem a few years ago in my old house and there was a whole gaggle of them living under our stairs, crazy, eh!

Pics coming later.

Hmm...I wish I'd tried the bios flash before putting it in the oven.

Pics for your viewing pleasure.

2. The remains of the delicious discount pizza (as you can see there aren't much remains seeing as it was so delicious).

Needless to say the second baking didn't help, now it doesn't even POST. As you can see I did put it on little balls of foil so I'm sure where else I could have gone wrong.

Any other ideas?
