Sailing is a mans game.

I think that is what he is hinting at :p :)

Sorry I'm not really a sailor(in any sense of the word). I did a weeks course in it and found it pretty easy but it didn't captivate my attention enough to make me want to go again. My dad loves it though.

Likewise. I've done a little bit, which was fun. But it's not a sport that really makes me want to go back for more. :)

I've raced in force 5 gales with snow!

That wasn't at a Grafham Grand Prix about 5 or 6 years ago was it? If so i was there and it was positively lethal because nobody could see more than about 2 feet in front of them.

I was very glad i wasn't on the assymetric and cat course!!

Nah, this was very light snow (going very fast) on Windermere late 2004.

I seem te recall we broached about 3 times and came 9th. Best result of the Winter Series (2004/2005) for us.

Edit:
here we go: http://www.windermere-cruising.org/win0405/WINfin01.HTM. BRAHMS & LISZ, Race 6.

10th placed boat was in the slow fleet and way behind us, but we were swapping places with 11th placed Shockwave all the way.
