Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a decent Freeview PVR?

I've had a 250GB TVONICS PVR for the last 18 months or so. But it blew up a few days ago. I'm pretty shocked to find that Freeview PVRs don't seem to have come very far - all still seem to suffer the same issues, and in particular there still doesn't seem to be many that tick all the boxes, with most being at least somewhat deficient in at least one area or feature.

I guess I'll have to stump for close to £200 or more if I want something that will last, and which is half decent...

I dont think the custom fireware does netflix but there has just been a beta firmware released from humax within the last week so might be something to work with there. Head over to hummy.tv for all your humax needs.

You can pick up a panasonic Dmrhw100 for £199 , not as much memory as the Humax, but ive found them alot more reliable.
