Any tips for getting the deal done?

Basically I'm with vodafone. They are the only company I have found that gives me a good signal at home and work.

Trouble is every year its the same.

I wanna upgrade, they say fine. What phones do you want. I list two that are available for free on my contract if I was a new customer.

They say fine, that will be £45 per phone. I say its available for free they say only to new customers.

I write a letter to cancel, they phone me up and offer me the phones I want for free.

The whole game does my head in, anyone know any good tips for getting what you want first time. Or am I doomed to keep playing this game?

phone up and ask what you have to do to quit or I think there is an option where it says 'if you are thinking of leaving vodafone', talk to those chaps.

I tried that last year, got nowhere. Last year they wanted to charge me £120 per phone, a 6230 and a k750. I had to get to the letter stage to get anywhere.
