Well I went ahead and bought an A03 revision 2407wfp without realising it meant I couldnt use 1:1 pixel mapping. So I cant use it for my 360 on 1080p which is half the reason I wanted it! I read they fixed this with the A04 so I was hoping theres a way to flash the firmware myself, a service port or something. I know a lot of TVs and some monitors have a USB or RS232 service port but I cant find any info on flashing this model. So any possible way to upgrade the firmware to A04 would be VERY useful to me.

Helps?!?

So any possible way to upgrade the firmware to A04

"A04" refers to the "version/revision" not too the firmware (I believe), but you can't turn an "A03" version/revision into an "A04", except by getting an "A04" (or something better) replacement under warranty from Dell...

Maybe others have suggestions...

Yeah I thought that was the case, but it cant hurt to ask eh? From what Ive heard theres not any physical difference though, but that said I suppose it could be a small change in the board layout or something as well as the firmware.

Nope :( Its there but the whole wide mode options greyed out when you run 1080p into it. Any other res is fine, just 1080p. This is on VGA or component. I do have a 360 with an HDMI socket but I havent tried it yet since its banned from Live, that said, I may give it a bash now over HDMI to DVi just to see. Ill report back with results :)
