anybody got a safe deposit box at a bank? - i'm wondering how much they cost, and if one bank is better than otehrs.

Just had a quick look online and saw one figure of £25 per annum for a small box which you provide yourself and keep the key.

Yes. My parents have one at HSBC and Barclays. Not all branches will have them - its mainly the main city centre branches. Annual fee plus a fee each time you visit.

Although if you're one of their high end customers the access fee is sometimes waived.
