Says two in the ad

Four racecars were built, whilst the road car was always evolving in the background.

It is believed that there is one racecar that went directly from the factory to Japan but without an engine. The other three racecars were destroyed. That means there are two cars left, one racecar in Japan and the only road car, which is offered here

They interviewed the then TVR owners when it was tested in EVO magazine. The guy said he decided to drive it home just to see what it would be like if someone from the public actually bought one.

By the time he got home, he rang one of the other partners and said theres no way we can sell this car to the public :eek:

I'm not surprised. It broke an engine dyno that was rated to 1000bhp.

The only way they could test it was to run one bank at a time

It tends to go up for sale every other week...

Awful mishmash of a car that is so much less than the sum of its parts. Massive power, the end. Handles like a dog I am told and is an example of ambition taking over from the ability to execute.

Which is why it was canned before it made it into production.

It's still an utter beast though!

Seen that car quite a few times on the net. Once on an Auction site, and im sure its either been on PH once or twice. I remember seeing it at the Excel Motor show in London, was stunning.
