Anybody ride off-road?

I have just purchased my first off road bike - a Beta Rev3 trials bike.
I used to watch trials all the time when I was younger, my dad was competition secretary for the local 'bike club, and I used to really enjoy it.

I've joined a local trials club, that way I can legally practice whenever I like, I'll probably enter some events too.

Yeah, they have an event on Sunday, so I'm going to go and take a look. I'll probably actually pay up from January on as the bike needs a bit of work before I use it properly - it's a bit expensive to join in November just for a month.

Here is the beast. My mum thought it was a kids bike. She doesn't know a lot about trials!

I had a rev3 awesome bike. Fell to pieces often, but still better than a gasgas. Motul 10w30 for the gearbox is the best imo. Maybe need a fresh tyre. So long as you can do a figure of 8 on full lock you are good enough to do a competition.

regret selling mine.

Yeah I just picked up a new Michelin X11 for the back. The front is a lot better but could still do with replacing.
